At the recently held Council of the Balkan Physical Union (BPU) at 9th International Physics Conference of the BPU, held in Istanbul, Turkey (24-27 August 2015), two leaders of the Southeastern European Network in Mathematical and Theoretical Physics (SEENET-MTP) Network were honored by reelection to the high positions in the Balkan Physical Union.
Prof. Dr. Radu Constantinesu, member of the Representative Committee and former presiden of the SEENET-MTP Network was reelected for the Scientific Secretary of the BPU. Prof. Dr. Goran Djordjevic, Executive Director of the SEENET-MTP Network and its permanent Office in Nis, was reelected for the Vice President of the BPU.
The new president of BPU is Prof. Aleksandar Petrov from Institute Of Solid State Physics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
