With great sadness, we have learned about the passing of Lars Brink (Chalmers Institute of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden).
As one of the pioneers of superstring theory and supersymmetric Yang-Mills, he has left fundamental contributions to theoretical physics.
Lars Brink served on the Nobel Committee for Physics.
Lars gave a significant contribution to the SEENET-MTP Network as a prominent member
of our Scientific-Advisory Committee in the period 2003-2022, taking part in many SEENET-MTP events and activities.
Lars will be sorely missed!
