With great sadness, we share the news of the passing of Ioannis Bakas (National Technical University in Athens, Greece), due to heart failure as a consequence of his treatment.
Prof. Ioannis will always be remembered for his fundamental contributions to string theory.
He was a prominent member of the SEENET-MTP Network.
