The 2nd Edition of National Conference of “The Community for Science Education” – STEM – partnership for quality (CNCES 2017) will be held on November 3-4, 2017 at National Library of Romania in Bucharest.
The conference is organized by Horia Hulubei National Institute for Physics and Nuclear Engineering (IFIN-HH), one of founders of the SEENET-MTP, and University of Bucharest, National Institute for Earth Physics (INCDFP), Institute of Educational Sciences (ISE) and Romanian Society of Physics (SRF), Romanian Society of Mathematical Sciences (SSMR), Romanian Society of Chemistry (SChR).
The purpose of this conference is to bring together international and local education experts, representatives of research institutes, schools and universities, decision-makers at educational policy, industry, NGOs, companies that will present, discussing and experimenting with STEM’s (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) innovative approaches, as well as the development trends and challenges faced by various actors interested in developing the Education Community for Science. The conference proposes a collection of plenary presentation, over 30 hands-on activities and demonstrations for teachers, round table discussions, expositions etc. Most of the materials were developed during some European projects H2020 and Erasmus+.
